Chilean imports and exports of home appliances are set to reach new heights in the coming years. Imports are expected to reach around $95 million by 2026, growing 1.5% year-on-year on average since 1995. Chile ranked 42nd in 2021 and was overtaken by Egypt with $87 million. Germany, Japan and France followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Conversely, exports of home appliances from Chile are forecast to reach $3.1 million by 2026, a decrease of 11.8% year-on-year on average since 1995. The country placed 52nd in 2021, with South Africa ahead at $6.6 million. Germany, Malaysia and the United States followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
