China’s home appliance exports are set to reach 14 billion dollars by 2026, according to a recent report. This figure is up from 11.7 billion dollars in 2021, with an average year-on-year growth rate of 2.7%. Since 1997, the Chinese supply of home appliances has grown at a rate of 5.7% per year. Germany, Malaysia and the United States ranked second, third and fourth respectively. In terms of imports, China is set to reach 1.1 billion dollars by 2026, up from 893 million dollars in 2021, with an average year-on-year growth rate of 3.6%. Since 1997, Chinese demand for home appliances has grown at a rate of 12.4%. In 2021, the United Kingdom overtook China with 893 million dollars in imports, while Germany, Japan and France were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
