Sales of French home appliances are expected to reach nearly €6.8 billion by 2026, up from €6.2 billion in 2021. This marks a year-on-year growth rate of 1.5%, significantly higher than the 7.6% growth rate since 2013. France was the fourth largest market in 2021, behind Poland which overtook it at €6.2 billion. Italy, Poland and France were the respective number two, three and four in the ranking. French home appliance imports are projected to reach $1.3 billion in 2026, up from $1.2 billion in 2021. This represents a year-on-year growth rate of 1.9%, higher than the 3.3% growth rate since 1999. France was the fourth largest market in 2021, behind Japan which overtook it at $1.2 billion. Germany, Japan and France were the respective number two, three and four in the ranking. Finally, French home appliance exports are expected to reach $545.8 million by 2026, up from $522.4 million in 2021. This translates to a year-on-year growth rate of 0.8%, higher than the 2.7% growth rate since 1999. France was the tenth largest market in 2021, behind Poland which overtook it with $522.4 million. Germany, Malaysia and the United States were the respective number two, three and four in the ranking.
