Demand for home appliances in Nepal is set to reach nearly $5 million by 2026. This would represent an average annual increase of 3% from 2021. Since 1999, Nepalese demand has risen 5.6% year on year. In 2021, Nepal was ranked number 97 in the global rankings, overtaken by Myanmar at $4.2 million. Germany, Japan and France were the next three countries in the rankings. Nepalese Home Appliance Export, meanwhile, fell 65.3% from $965 million in 2016 to $335 million in 2017. However, since 2016, Nepalese supply has increased 25.2% year on year.
