Jordanian exports and imports of home appliances are both set to increase over the next few years. Exports are predicted to reach $3.5 million by 2026, up 3.8% year on year since 2021. This represents an increase of 54.5% since 1999. In 2021, Jordan ranked 58th in the world for home appliance exports, with Oman overtaking at $2.7 million. Germany, Malaysia, and the United States ranked second, third, and fourth respectively. Imports of home appliances into Jordan are also expected to rise, reaching $11.5 million by 2026. This is an average growth rate of 0.8% year on year since 2021. However, imports have decreased by 3.6% since 1999. In 2021, Jordan ranked 75th in the world for home appliance imports, with Costa Rica taking the lead at $10.9 million. Germany, Japan, and France were the second, third, and fourth largest importers respectively.
