Emirati home appliance exports are projected to reach $167 million by 2026, up from $162 million in 2021. This is an increase of 0.6 percent year-on-year. Since 2012, exports have grown 17.2 percent annually. In 2021, the UAE ranked 20th, with South Korea taking the lead with $161.9 million. Germany, Malaysia and the US were second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, imports of home appliances in the UAE are expected to reach $232 million by 2026, up from $230 million in 2021. This is an average increase of 0.1 percent year-on-year. Since 2012, demand has grown 9.8 percent annually. The country ranked 22nd in 2021, with Mexico surpassing the UAE with $230.1 million. Germany, Japan and France came in second, third and fourth respectively.
