The American health expenditure is expected to reach a total of $12,610 per person by 2026, according to a recent study. This figure is a marked increase from the current $11,380 per person in 2021. The study showed that the average yearly growth rate for American health expenditure is 1.6%. This growth rate has increased steadily since 2005, when it was 3.1%. Switzerland, Norway, and Germany take the second, third, and fourth spots respectively in the ranking.
