India is set to spend an estimated $239.34 per person on healthcare by 2026. From 2021 to 2026, this number is expected to grow at an annual rate of 1.5%. Since 2005, the country's health expenditure has increased by an average of 1.2% a year. In 2021, India was the 140th highest spender on healthcare, behind Sudan, which spent $217.03 per person. Switzerland, Norway and Germany were the highest spenders, coming in at first, second and third place respectively.
