Nauruan health expenditure is set to reach $1,600 per person by 2026, according to a report released this week. The report found that expenditure has been growing year-on-year since 2005, at an average of 1.4%. In 2021, Nauruan health spending was estimated to be $1,430 per person, placing it 66th in the world – just behind Bosnia and Herzegovina. Switzerland, Norway and Germany took the top three spots.
