Kazakhstan's metal imports are set to reach 6 million metric tons by 2026, growing 1.5% year on year, according to a recent report. The country's demand has risen 2.5% annually since 2000, and it was ranked 52nd in 2021. Bulgaria overtook it with 5.03 million metric tons, while Japan, South Korea and Germany took the top three spots in the rankings.
