Zimbabwean metal imports totalled 160,000 metric tons in 2021, a drop of 1.8% from last year’s 170,000 metric tons. Since 1990, the country’s demand for metals has fallen by almost 14%. Zimbabwe was the 127th largest importer of metals this year, overtaken by Togo at 160,000 metric tons. Japan, South Korea, and Germany took the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
