This was a slight increase from 0.75 million metric tons in 2020. Since 2005, Namibian demand for metal imports has grown at a rate of 3.8% each year. However, it was overtaken in 2021 by Uganda, with imports of 0.77 million metric tons. Japan, South Korea and Germany were the top three countries in this ranking, respectively.
