Singapore's metal imports are expected to reach 11 million metric tons by 2026. This is an increase of 1.6% year-on-year, since 1975, when Singapore's metal demand rose 2.2% annually. In 2021, Singapore was placed 37th on the list of metal importers, with Argentina overtaking it with 10.02 million metric tons. Japan, South Korea and Germany were the top three importers respectively.
