Output is projected to reach 5.5 Gigawatthours by 2026, representing a yearly average growth rate of 3.4%. Since 2008, supply has grown 7.5% annually. In 2021, Germany was the largest producer at 4.5 Gigawatthours, followed by Italy, France and Spain.
