The country's wind supply has consistently risen by 2.6% per year since 1995. In terms of wind capacity, Germany is followed by Spain, the United Kingdom, and France, which occupy the second, third, and fourth spots in the rankings, respectively. On the consumption front, German wind power usage is projected to reach 1.45 exajoules by 2028, up from 1.22 exajoules in 2023. This marks an average annual growth rate of 2.8%. Since 1995, the country's wind power demand has increased by 3.1% annually. The United Kingdom, Spain, and France also rank just behind Germany in wind power consumption, taking the second, third, and fourth positions respectively.
