Polish exports of iron are projected to reach almost 9.4 thousand metric tons by 2026, compared to 8.7 thousand metric tons in 2021. This marks an increase at a rate of 1.3% annually since 2005. Poland was in ninth place in 2021, with Spain at the top with 8.7 thousand metric tons. Sweden, France, and Italy were the second, third, and fourth most significant exporters respectively. Meanwhile, imports of iron are expected to reach 16.8 thousand metric tons by 2026, slightly higher than the 16.6 thousand metric tons of 2021, with a 0.2% annual growth rate since 2005. In 2021, Poland was seventh, with Belgium leading the ranking at 16.6 thousand metric tons. Italy, France, and the Netherlands came in second, third, and fourth places respectively.
