According to a compound annual growth rate of 2.8%, the demand for weapons in the country has been increasing by 2.6% each year since 2000. In 2021, Kazakhstan was ranked 18th in weapon imports, overtaken by Indonesia at $281.6 million. Saudi Arabia, Australia, and South Korea were the top three countries in this ranking, respectively.
