As of 2023, Pakistan ranks fifth in the world for weapon imports, trailing behind Kuwait, which also has imports valued at $1.35 billion. Leading the list are Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions respectively. On the export front, Pakistan's weapon exports are expected to grow to $22.2 million by 2028, from $20.5 million in 2023, with an average annual growth rate of 1.2%. Since 1994, Pakistan's weapon supply has seen a substantial rise, increasing by 59.3% annually.
