Morocco's bioenergy consumption is on the rise. It's expected to reach nearly 91 million metric tons by 2026, after increasing by 1% year-over-year since 1975. In 2021, the country ranked 42nd in the world in bioenergy consumption. Mali came in ahead of Morocco with 86.42 million metric tons. India, Brazil, and the United States ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively.
