This is down 9.1% since 2001, when Senegal was ranked 93rd in copper exports, but was surpassed by Nepal at $6.9 million in 2021. Germany, the United States, and Japan placed 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively. Meanwhile, copper imports to Senegal are projected to grow 2.9% each year and reach almost $38.4 million in 2026. This is an increase of 12.4% since 2001, when the country was ranked 80th, before being overtaken by Angola at $32.3 million in 2021. Germany, the United States, and Italy were ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively.
