Global copper exports are set to reach $132 billion by 2026, a 0.4% decrease from 2021's $137 billion. This is a 5.1% increase since 2017. Chile led the way in 2021, with $15.5 billion in copper exports. Germany, the United States and Japan ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively. Honduras saw a 167.8% increase in exports since 2017, while Belize saw a 43.4% decrease. Global copper imports are projected to reach $155.5 billion by 2026, a 0.2% increase from 2021's $156 billion. This is a 7% increase since 2017. China led the way in 2021 with $49.1 billion in copper imports. Germany, the United States and Italy ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively. Iran saw a 35.4% increase in imports since 2017, while Zambia saw a 40.4% decrease.
