Solomon Islander Copper imports are set to reach $799,470 by 2026. This would be an increase of 4.2% compounded annually since 2021 when the imports stood at $622,400. Since 2014 the demand has grown by 17.7% each year. In 2021, the country was ranked 131 in the world in terms of copper imports, just behind Lesotho which imported $622,400. Germany, the United States and Italy were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. In contrast, exports of copper from Solomon Islander declined by 50.5% in 2018 when compared to the year before, falling from $400 to $198. Since 2014, exports have declined by an average of 60.2% year on year.
