China's vanadium import dropped 94.9% in 2021 to 1,040 kilograms, compared to 20,380 kilograms the year before. This is the lowest level since 1997, when the country's demand was 54.1% lower than it is now. Iran topped the list with 1,040 kilograms, followed by South Korea, the United States, and India. China's vanadium export is expected to drop 0.6% year on year to 6,967,200 kilograms in 2026. This is 3.8% lower than the country's supply in 1997. Russia topped the list with 7,213,900 kilograms in 2021, followed by China, South Africa, and the United States.
