Zambian imports of vanadium skyrocketed by 34,390% in 2018, rising from 14.5 kilograms to an astonishing 5,000 kilograms. This was the highest year-on-year increase since 2000, when demand dropped by 32%. Egypt topped the rankings with 5,000 kilograms, followed by South Korea, the United States and India.
