Since 1990, the country's demand for nuclear power has fallen by around 5% each year. In contrast, Ukraine's nuclear power generation is on an upward trajectory. By 2028, the nation is expected to produce about 92,440 gigawatt-hours of nuclear energy, up from 85,070 gigawatt-hours in 2023. This marks an average annual growth of 1.3% in nuclear generation. Since 2012, Ukraine has seen a yearly increase of approximately 1.4% in its nuclear power supply.
