Imports of coking coal in the Netherlands are set to decline. By 2026, Dutch imports are projected to reach 3.36 million metric tons, a 1.4% drop from 2021 levels. Since 1995, imports have been on a downward trend, decreasing by an average of 4.7% each year. In 2021, Germany was number one in the ranking, importing 3.41 million metric tons. The Netherlands and France came in third and fourth, respectively.
