Ukraine's coking coal import is expected to reach 10 million metric tons by 2026, up from 9.2 million in 2021. This represents a 1% annual growth rate since 2000. Germany, the Netherlands and France were the top three importers of Ukrainian coking coal. In 2019, Ukraine exported 28,700 metric tons of coking coal, a 37.6% decrease from 46,000 metric tons in 2018. This marked a 54.4% drop in Ukrainian coking coal exports since 1995.
