In 2018, Ghanaian Glass Import witnessed a gradual decrease of 0.5% from the previous year. Imports of glass products in 2018 amounted to $47,445,000, down from the $47,674,000 recorded in 2017. This was the lowest import level since 2001, when imports totaled $45.7 million. At the same time, exports of glass products in Ghana rose 2.5% to $1.27 million in 2018, up from $1.24 million in 2017. This was the highest export level since 2001, when exports totaled $2.63 million. Overall, the country's glass supply decreased by 52.4% over the past 17 years.
