Meanwhile, Malaysia's glass imports are projected to reach $1.2 billion by 2026, increasing from $1.1 billion in 2021 at an average rate of 2% year-on-year. Since 1994, Malaysia's glass demand has been up 3.5% annually. Last year, the country was the 17th largest importer, with Austria leading with imports worth $1.1 billion. China, Germany, and France followed in second, third, and fourth place.
