Lao glass exports are on the rise. By 2026, they are expected to reach almost $700,000, up 3.6% from 2021. This growth follows an upward trend since 2015, when exports rose 7.3% year-on-year. In 2021, Lao was ranked 108th in the world, behind Belize's $563,970. Germany, the United States and France came in at numbers two, three and four respectively. Meanwhile, Lao glass imports are expected to reach $13.5 million by 2026. This figure is up 1.3% from 2021 and has been growing since 2015 at a rate of 5.1% year-on-year. In 2021, Lao was ranked 117th in the world, behind Barbados' $12.5 million. China, Germany and France were numbers two, three and four respectively.
