Electric vehicle registrations in Austria are expected to hit around 31,500 in 2026, according to a recent report. The report revealed that the number of electric vehicles registered in the country grew by 4.9% year-on-year in 2021, reaching 23,750. This marks a 38.1% increase since 2017. Denmark overtook Austria in 2021, registering 23,750 electric vehicles. France, Norway and Sweden were the next highest ranked countries, with registrations in second, third and fourth places respectively.
