Bangladeshi egg consumption is set to grow steadily over the next five years. In 2021, the country consumed 690,000 metric tons of eggs. That number is expected to rise to 700,000 metric tons by 2026, a 1.8% year-on-year growth rate. Since 2017, Bangladesh's egg consumption has increased by 2.1% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 18th in the world for total egg consumption, with Spain leading the way at 621,000 metric tons. The United States, India, and Japan followed in second, third, and fourth places, respectively.
