Cameroon's egg consumption is expected to reach 12,000 metric tons by 2026, up 1.1% annually from the current 11,000 metric tons, according to a new report. Demand for eggs in Cameroon has remained stable since 2017, putting the country in 115th place in the 2021 rankings. Benin overtook Cameroon at 11,000 metric tons. The US, India and Japan held the top three spots in the rankings.
