Egg consumption in Zimbabwe is expected to dip slightly by 2026. According to the latest figures, the nation is projected to eat 17 million metric tons of eggs in 2026. This is a 1.1% decrease from 2021, when Zimbabweans consumed 19 million metric tons of eggs. Since 2017, the country's egg consumption has declined by an average of 1.7% annually. Zimbabwe was ranked 102nd in 2021, just behind Bosnia and Herzegovina, which ate 19 million metric tons of eggs. The United States, India, and Japan came in second, third, and fourth in the rankings, respectively.
