Since 2017 there has been a steady growth of 0.3% annually. In 2021, Spain was the 17th biggest egg consumer in the world, but South Korea surpassed it with 672,000 metric tons. The US, India, and Japan took the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th spots respectively.
