Greek egg consumption is expected to reach 90,000 metric tons by 2026, a decrease of 1.1% annually since 2021. Since 2017, the demand for eggs has dropped by 1.7% per year. Greece was the 56th highest consumer in 2021, but was overtaken by Cuba at 96,000 metric tons. The United States, India, and Japan made up the top four egg-consuming countries.
