Russian egg consumption is set to reach 2,500 thousand metric tons by 2026, according to a recent report. This is a 0.5% increase year on year, compared with the 0.3% growth since 2017. Mexico overtook Russia in 2021, with 2,430 thousand metric tons of egg consumption, while the United States, India and Japan came in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
