Maldives is expected to consume 7,000 metric tons of eggs in 2026, the same as in 2021. Since 2017, Maldivian demand for eggs has remained relatively unchanged. In 2021, the country ranked 123rd globally in egg consumption, behind Jamaica at 7,000 metric tons. The United States, India and Japan were the top three egg-consuming countries.
