The egg consumption in the UAE is set to reach 145,000 metric tons by 2026. Figures from 2021 show that this was 134,000 metric tons, a 1.3% year-on-year increase since 2017. The UAE ranks 45th in the world in egg consumption, with Hungary taking the lead at 134,000 metric tons. The US, India and Japan follow in second, third and fourth place respectively.
