Since 1966, Egyptian supply has dropped by 0.9% year-on-year. The country was ranked 45th in 2021, overtaken by Nepal at 8.9 million heads. Brazil, India and the United States came in second, third and fourth, respectively, in this ranking. Egyptian livestock imports are forecast to reach $257 million by 2026, up 2.6% from $218 million in 2021. Since 1999, Egyptian demand has grown 8.4% year-on-year. Egypt was 26th in 2021, with Romania ahead at $218 million. Germany, Italy and the Netherlands came in second, third and fourth, respectively, in this ranking.
