This was behind the Philippines, which had 9,209,500 heads in the same year. Brazil, India and the United States were respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Uruguay's livestock import is expected to grow in the coming years, rising at a rate of 2.5% annually on average. The country was ranked 94th in 2021, with imports of $7,101,800. This was behind Botswana, which imported $6,047,100. Germany, Italy and the Netherlands were respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
