The livestock production of the Dominican Republic is on track to reach 13,500 heads by 2026. This marks a 0.2% increase year-on-year from 2021’s figure of 13,330 heads. Since 1966, the supply of livestock in the Dominican Republic has grown at an average rate of 0.3% yearly. In 2021, the country ranked 179th in this regard, while Sao Tome and Principe placed higher with 13,330 heads. Brazil, India and the United States came in at second, third and fourth respectively.
