Chadian livestock production is on the rise. It is projected to reach 37.2 million heads by 2026, up from 32.2 million heads in 2021. This is a growth of 2.4 percent annually since 1966. Chad was the tenth-highest producer of livestock in 2021, with Mexico leading the pack at 32.2 million heads. Brazil, India and the United States followed, ranking second, third and fourth respectively.
