Ghanaian Livestock Production is set to reach almost 4 million heads by 2026. This represents an average growth of 2% per year since 1966. The Central African Republic overtook Ghana in 2021, coming in at number 78 with 3.5 million heads. Brazil, India and the United States are respectively the second, third and fourth largest producers in the world. Ghanaian Livestock Imports increased by 12.6% in 2018, reaching $10.7 million. This is a slight recovery from the 5.9% year-on-year decrease since 2001.
