The country currently sits in 28th place, just behind South Africa's 13.5 million heads. Brazil, India and the United States hold the top three spots. Nigerien livestock imports are also predicted to rise by 1.7% CAGR from 2021's $165,140 to $182,460 by 2026. This follows a year-on-year increase of 2.2% since 2000. Germany, Italy and the Netherlands hold the highest rankings in this regard.
