Kenya imported close to 5.8 million kilograms of fungicides in 2018, up 23.7% from 4.7 million kilograms in 2017. Since 1997, Kenyan demand has risen by an average of 7% year-on-year. The country was ranked number one in 2018, with 86.5 million kilograms imported. France, Germany and Tanzania were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively. Kenya exported close to 616,000 kilograms of fungicides in 2018, up 54.3% from 399,400 kilograms in 2017. Since 1997, Kenyan supply has increased by 84.5% year-on-year. The country was ranked number one in 2018, with 218.5 million kilograms exported. France, Germany and China were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
