Since 1993, Japanese supply has increased by 0.5% year-on-year. Mexico was ranked number one in 2021 with 6.3 million kilograms, while France, Germany and China took the second, third and fourth positions respectively. Imports of fungicides to Japan are expected to decline by an average of 1.6% annually to 8.3 million kilograms by 2026, down from 9.2 million kilograms in 2021. Since 1993, Japanese demand has decreased by 4.7% year-on-year. Greece was ranked number one in 2021 with 9.2 million kilograms, while France, Tanzania and Germany were second, third and fourth respectively.
