Demand for Malagasy fungicide imports is set to increase at a rate of 2.5% year-on-year over the next five years. In 2021, the country imported 349,460 kilograms of fungicide – 94th in the world – overtaken by Kyrgyzstan. France, Tanzania and Germany were the top three importers, respectively. Since 1995, Malagasy fungicide imports have grown by an average of 4.4% year-on-year, and are projected to reach 409,310 kilograms by 2026.
