Azerbaijan's fungicide imports are projected to grow 3.4% year-on-year on average up until 2026. Since 2001, demand has risen 17.5% annually. In 2021, Azerbaijan ranked 73rd in the world with 1.3 million kilograms of imports, behind Saudi Arabia in the lead with 1.3 million kilograms. France, Tanzania and Germany followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Export volumes of fungicides from Azerbaijan dropped significantly in 2018, with 1,400 kilograms compared to 6,000 kilograms in 2017 – a decrease of 76.6%.
