Swiss road casualties are set to fall by 0.5% a year on average between 2021 and 2026. The figure stood at 21,510 in 2021, down 0.1% annually since 2015. This puts the country at 18th in the world rankings, with Serbia overtaking them to move into 17th place. Germany, Italy and Russia held the 2nd, 3rd and 4th places respectively.
